Skyrim Fnis Creatures Pack

I haven't the faintest idea of what I'm doing wrong. One of my mods require to me to get the creature pack for FNIS and FNIS itself, so I went ahead and installed them like you would a normal mod straight off the nexus.

First oddity is that FNIS doesn't have a recognized format or something when it got installed. As such, it was greyed out, but still able to be enabled. Or something like that. I can still activate FNIS manually by going to the mods folder and all that.

Still encountering this boring issue with enabling creature animations, my User Generator thingy for FNIS looks pretty much the same than hackdot's and oldguy's. I grabbed that hidden sexlab creatures pack and I'm pretty sure I have everything set up to make it working, but NO! Skyrim Fnis Creatures Pack Voperfinal. Before any of you start on me with the whole 'Skyrim isn't a porn game get your boob discussion out' I'm only doing this so I can get a mod race to work properly.

I could install the creature pack installed like normal, but FNIS wouldn't recognize that it existed.

When using the tools thingy I tried to connect to FNIS, but it never seemed to work. I located the GenerateUser.exe (or whatever it's called) and clicked on that. Doesn't seem to work.

In the 'data' area of MO the named part of the list is cut off in such a way that it's impossible to read and understand it all. I had searched up a possible solution and it required me to go through there. Everything is either labelled 'data,' 'overwrite,' or the name is cut off to simply '...' or not enough to read.

  66. 1. in my opinion, Mod Managers should be avoided like the plague (i hate all of them).
  67. but if you insist on using one, make sure that it's installing the files to the right location.

  69. 2. run/rerun the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, if you don't the animations wont work/run.

  73. you may not even get a error message telling you that this has happened.
  74. make sure FNIS and your mod manager are running with administrator privileges.
  75. 3. when you start the game with the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) loader the list of installed mods wont get refreshed, so if you install a mod and just start the game with the loader any new mods you installed wont be fully activated. to fix this problem go to the skyrim launcher and click on 'DATA FILES' and it will refresh the list of installed mods, you can now close the launcher and start the game with the skse loader.
  76. 4. in game you need to go inside SexLab's Mod Control Menu (MCM) and click on 'install' first before you can use SexLab.
  77. 5. make sure you have 'Allow Creature Animation' checked in SexLab's MCM settings.
  78. 6. turn off 'Match Creature Gender' in sexlab's MCM settings, if this setting is enabled some animations won't play, its because most creatures don't have female counterparts in skyrim by default.
  79. 7. did you forget to install the FNIS Creature Pack? install it and rerun the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, then do steps 5 & 8
  80. 8. you may need to reload the animations, go to the Animation Loader's MCM and then:
  81. 8.2. click on 'Rebuild Animation Registry', then Wait for the message to pop up*.
  82. 8.4. click on 'Enable All'.
  83. 8.5. click on the 'Add to Registry' button, then Wait for the message to pop up*.
  84. *if you like you can press '~' on your keyboard to open the console so you can watch it Register everything, just make sure you close it before you try to click on anything.
  85. 9. if all else fails, try loading a older save file from before sexlab was installed.

  87. 'Creature Framework API reference not found. Make a clean save and try again' error and/or the MCM for Creature Framework is missing:
  88. you need to install the .bsa file from Sexlab Aroused to fix this problem.
  89. Aroused mesh not getting applied during animations:
  90. go to the Creature Framework MCM and click on 'Re-register all mods', then unpause the game and Wait a Minute.
  91. note: if you have SexLab Aroused fully installed you may need to lower the 'Arousal threshold' setting in the Creature Framework MCM.

  94. you have Too many animation mods and/or SLAL Packs installed, use the 'XXL' version of FNIS or uninstall some animations.

  97. the problem with installing script heavy mods is that the default Papyrus settings are not capable of handling the additional stress.
  98. This tweak should increase stability, and needs to be added to the Skyrim.ini file under the [Papyrus] section.

  105. note: you should only have logging turned on (bEnableLogging=1) if you are actively trying to find a problem.
  106. the rest of the time it's just a drain on system resources and it can cause extra stress for the papyrus system.
  107. therefor if you have it on all the time it can potentially become a part of the problem your trying to fix.
  108. it only logs the scripts anyways, so if you have a problem like a deleted world object or a bad navmesh the log won't say anything helpfull.
